How does it work?

FreeCust supports freelancers, businesses and individuals at every stage of an assignment. Explore opportunities and profiles on the website, then continue working together in the app.

For clients

  1. Describe what you need. Post an opportunity with the duration, rate, location and skills required.
  2. Find the right freelancer. Review profiles and applications, then discuss the details through messaging.
  3. Agree on the terms. Confirm the date and rate or quote with the freelancer.
  4. Sign and pay for the assignment. Sign the electronic contract and make the payment.
  5. Approve and review. Once the assignment is complete, approve it and share your feedback.

For freelancers

  1. Create your profile and CV. Showcase your experience, skills, rates and availability.
  2. Find an assignment. Browse opportunities and submit your application.
  3. Discuss the details with the client. Agree on the appointment and rate, or provide a detailed quote.
  4. Sign your contract. The terms accepted by both parties form the basis of the contract.
  5. Complete the assignment. Track progress and receive your payment once the assignment is approved.

Clear terms, from contract to payment

The date and rate can be negotiated separately. The appointment is confirmed when both parties accept the date and rate or quote.The contract is generated with the agreed terms and signed electronically by both parties. An extension may require a contract amendment.Payments for assignments are processed through Stripe: funds are held until the assignment is approved, then released to the freelancer. Quotes and invoices are available as PDFs in the app.

What if you use an umbrella company?
